The Taylor Gold Label 517e SB combines warm, vintage-inspired tone with Taylor’s most advanced acoustic design. Built with a Grand Pacific body shape, this guitar features a slightly deeper body depth for expanded low-end response and enhanced projection, all while maintaining balance and clarity across the tonal spectrum.
A torrefied Sitka spruce top offers aged-in character and dynamic response, while solid tropical mahogany back and sides contribute woody midrange warmth and focus. Inside, Taylor’s fanned V-Class bracing improves sustain and tuning accuracy, enhancing both volume and note-to-note definition.
Designed by Andy Powers, this limited model features a long-tenon Action Control Neck™ joint, allowing for a more resonant connection between neck and body while enabling precise string height adjustments. Other premium touches include a Honduran rosewood “Curve Wing” bridge, West African ebony fretboard, cream Crest inlays, and Taylor nickel tuners. Finished in a rich golden-brown sunburst gloss, the Gold Label 517e SB is both visually and sonically captivating.
