I hear a subtle but noticeable difference in the sustain and clarity of the notes on my old Yamaha with the ebony bridge pins versus having the original 1983 plastic pins in place. If you score the ones with pearloid centers, those *look* amazing as well. If not, no worries, you will still have the benefit of [slightly] better tone!

Great shop, with a killer inventory and great professional and extremely friendly staff. Josh did a set-up on my Strat and PLEK'd and set-up my tele. Both guitars came out great! In fact, the PLEK on the Tele left me with what feels like a brand-new guitar. The difference was night & day. I highly recommend getting your guitar PLEK'd at Vera. It's a great investment into the long-term playability of the instrument.
