The ESP LTD AS-1 Alex Skolnick Signature electric guitar in Lemon Burst pairs a full-thickness Eclipse body with a flamed maple top and versatile Seymour Duncan pickups. Designed for the guitarist known for his work with Testament and the Alex Skolnick Trio, this single-cutaway model brings together signature styling, passive electronics, and player-focused hardware.
Signature design and set-neck construction
A mahogany body, three-piece mahogany neck, and set-neck construction form the foundation of the AS-1. The U-shaped neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a 305mm radius, 22 extra-jumbo frets, and a 24.75-inch scale. A translucent Lemon Burst finish highlights the figured flamed maple top.
Flexible pickup controls
Seymour Duncan pickups are paired with individual volume controls, a pickup selector toggle, and a push-pull tone control that splits the neck pickup. Keep the neck pickup in humbucking mode or pull the tone control for another tonal option, whether you're working through rhythm parts or exploring lead passages.
Hardware and included case
The AS-1 features a bone nut, Grover tuners, a TonePros locking Tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece, and Dunlop Straplok strap buttons. An EC Guitar Form Fit Case is included for storage and transport.
