The Ibanez MDM1000 combines modern ergonomics, fast playability and an exceptionally flexible electronics package in a streamlined four-string bass. Its specially designed MDM body balances comfortably against the player while the sculpted Super All Access neck joint provides an open path to all 24 frets.

An alder body gives the MDM1000 a balanced foundation with clarity, resonance and sustain. The roasted maple neck improves stability while the rosewood fretboard and medium stainless-steel frets deliver a smooth, durable playing surface. Lightweight Ibanez Aero-Light tuning machines further improve balance and comfort during long rehearsals, recording sessions and performances.

Two passive Delta S4J pickups produce an aggressive yet balanced single-coil-style voice with clear response throughout the frequency range. Their hum-canceling design helps reduce unwanted noise while maintaining the definition needed to cut through a full mix.

The Ibanez Sonitech S preamp provides extensive control through a three-band EQ, passive tone control and push/pull EQ bypass. The Hexa Mid system offers two selectable frequency banks with three midrange points in each bank, giving players six different mid frequencies for precisely shaping their sound. From deep, supportive lows to focused modern attack, the MDM1000 can adapt to nearly any playing style.
