Yamaha RS20MM Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar Electric Guitar – Vintage Sunburst

Precision, Expression, and Versatility. The Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar.

The Yamaha RS20MM Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar Electric Guitar brings the exceptional tone, feel, and playability of Matteo Mancuso's custom Revstar to a premium production signature model. Developed in close collaboration with the acclaimed guitarist, the RS20MM is designed for players who demand outstanding articulation, dynamic response, and tonal versatility.

Featuring a stunning flamed maple top in Vintage Sunburst, a chambered mahogany body, DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbuckers, and Yamaha's innovative Focus Switch electronics, this signature Revstar delivers everything from warm, expressive jazz tones to articulate fusion leads and aggressive rock sounds.

Chambered Mahogany Body with Flamed Maple Top

The RS20MM features a chambered mahogany body topped with beautifully figured flamed maple, combining rich tonal character with enhanced resonance and comfortable balance.

Developed using Yamaha's exclusive Acoustic Design technology, the chambered construction is engineered to optimize the guitar's vibration characteristics while reducing weight.

The result is a lively, responsive instrument that delivers impressive sustain, tonal clarity, and a comfortable playing experience.

A striking Vintage Sunburst gloss polyurethane finish highlights the natural figuring of the maple top, while elegant gold hardware completes the guitar's distinctive appearance.

DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary Humbuckers

At the heart of the Yamaha RS20MM are two premium DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbucking pickups, selected to deliver exceptional clarity, sustain, and touch sensitivity.

Inspired by classic vintage PAF designs, these pickups feature a lower magnetic pull that allows the strings to vibrate more freely, enhancing sustain and dynamic response.

The neck pickup delivers smooth, warm tones ideal for jazz, blues, and melodic lead playing, while the bridge pickup provides articulate attack, rich harmonics, and excellent definition for rock and fusion.

Together, they provide an expressive tonal foundation that responds naturally to subtle changes in picking dynamics and playing technique.

Five-Way Switching and Yamaha Focus Switch

One of the standout features of the RS20MM is its versatile five-position pickup selector, providing a broader range of sounds than a traditional dual-humbucker guitar.

In positions two and four, Yamaha's specialized switching circuit introduces subtle phase-shifted tones, creating distinctive in-between sounds while maintaining useful output.

The push/pull master tone control activates Yamaha's Focus Switch, a passive circuit designed to produce a fuller, more aggressive sound with enhanced midrange and low-frequency response.

This combination allows players to move effortlessly between warm jazz cleans, articulate fusion tones, expressive blues leads, and powerful rock sounds without changing guitars.

Carbon-Reinforced Mahogany Neck and Stainless Steel Frets

The RS20MM features a three-piece mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement, providing enhanced strength, stability, and consistent performance.

Its comfortable satin polyurethane neck finish allows for smooth movement across the fingerboard, while the 24.75-inch scale length offers a responsive playing feel with comfortable string tension.

A rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets provides a smooth, durable playing surface designed for precise articulation, fast runs, expressive bends, and advanced techniques.

Whether playing intricate fingerstyle passages or demanding lead lines, the RS20MM delivers the control and consistency serious players expect.

Signature Appointments and Premium Hardware

The Yamaha RS20MM captures the refined appearance of Matteo Mancuso's personal custom Revstar with a combination of classic styling and exclusive signature details.

Its flamed maple top features a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish, complemented by gold hardware, a cream three-ply pickguard, and premium locking tuning machines.

A distinctive Matteo Mancuso logo inlay at the 12th fret and his signature on the truss rod cover complete the instrument's signature identity.

A Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece provides reliable intonation and sustain, while the locking tuners help maintain tuning stability during demanding performances.

A deluxe Yamaha gig bag is included.
