Featuring a solid mahogany body, a five-piece maple/mahogany neck, dual ceramic humbucking pickups, and Yamaha's innovative Performance EQ system, the TRBX304 is built to handle everything from classic rock and funk to jazz, blues, and modern metal.

Designed for bassists who demand comfort, reliability, and tonal flexibility, the TRBX304 combines premium construction with intuitive controls, making it an excellent choice for both developing players and experienced musicians.

Solid Mahogany Body – Rich Tone and Comfortable Design

The TRBX304 features a solid mahogany body with Yamaha's signature sculpted contours, providing a comfortable, balanced playing experience whether standing on stage or sitting during practice.

Mahogany delivers a strong tonal foundation with warm lows, focused mids, and excellent sustain. The ergonomic body design allows for comfortable extended playing sessions, while the gloss polyurethane finish provides lasting durability.

Five-Piece Maple/Mahogany Neck – Stability and Playability

Built with a durable five-piece maple and mahogany neck, the TRBX304 offers excellent stability, comfortable playability, and a responsive feel.

The slim neck profile features a satin polyurethane finish for smooth movement across the fingerboard. A 34-inch scale length, 24 medium frets, and a 10-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard provide a versatile playing surface for fingerstyle techniques, slap bass, and fast melodic runs.

The 38mm nut width offers a comfortable feel that works equally well for new bassists and experienced players.

Dual M3 Ceramic Humbuckers – Powerful, Defined Bass Tone

Equipped with two Yamaha Guitar Development (YGD) M3 ceramic humbucking pickups, the TRBX304 delivers a powerful, articulate sound with excellent tonal definition.

The dual-pickup configuration provides everything from deep, rounded bass tones to aggressive midrange punch and bright, cutting attack.

A dedicated pickup balancer allows players to blend the neck and bridge pickups, providing additional control over their sound.

Five-Way Performance EQ – Instant Tone Shaping

One of the standout features of the Yamaha TRBX304 is its active 5-Way Performance EQ system, designed to provide quick access to optimized bass tones for different playing styles.

The five-position selector offers dedicated settings for Slap, Pick, Flat, Finger, and Solo playing, making it easy to adapt your sound without complicated adjustments.

A two-band active EQ provides independent bass and treble control, allowing players to fine-tune their tone for any musical situation.

Whether you need deep lows for a smooth groove, crisp attack for slap bass, or punchy definition for a driving rock performance, the TRBX304 provides exceptional tonal flexibility.

Reliable Hardware and Stage-Ready Construction

The TRBX304 features a high-mass die-cast bridge with 19mm string spacing, designed to provide excellent string vibration transfer, sustain, and precise adjustment.

Covered die-cast tuning machines offer dependable tuning stability, while Yamaha's durable construction ensures reliable performance for rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performances.

With its combination of modern design, versatile electronics, and comfortable playability, the Yamaha TRBX304 is a dependable instrument for virtually any musical style.
